RCIC

Children who are of the age 7 and older and have not yet been Baptized into the Catholic Faith, are to join the RCIC Classes in the Religious Education Program. These students will attend certain classes to learn about the Catholic Faith and the Sacraments they are to receive.

Student Requirement:

• Have Two Godparents for the Sacrament of Baptism
• Have One Sponsor for the Sacrament of Confirmation
• Attend scheduled Religious Education classes
• Attend the Rituals during the year with family and Godparents
• Have an understanding of the Sacraments they are to receive
• Attend the rehearsal for the Easter Vigil
• Be received into the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil

RCIC Candidates - after receiving the Sacraments, students are to:

• Be sure to join all the Religious Education classes with your peers in the grade level you are in
• Make sure to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation the following season of Religious Education
